Linen Care Guide

MACHINE WASHING

Wash at low to warm temperatures (up to 104°F). Wash separately from other fabrics and colors. Choose the delicate machine cycle setting.

HAND WASHING

Hand washing is the best option for thin linen fabrics. Hand wash linen clothing using a gentle swishing motion. Never wring, twist, or scrub the cloth.

DETERGENT

Use a mild detergent that does not contain any bleaching agents such as chlorine or peroxide. Don't pour the detergent directly on the textiles.

BLEACHING

The detergents that contain bleaching agents shouldn't be used for washing dyed linen. If white fabrics need bleaching, use an oxygen-based bleach.

DRYING

Dry in a dryer at a low temperature. If using a dryer, take the linen out when it's damp and complete drying by hanging it or laying it flat. You can also skip the dryer and simply hang it or let it dry flat on a white towel.

IRONING

Iron linen while it's still slightly damp. Use medium or high temperatures and steam. If needed, you can also spray some water on the fabric. Iron on the reverse side. Skip the ironing if you like the natural, slightly wrinkled look

SHRINKAGE

Don't wash or dry linens on a hot setting as it will most likely cause shrinkage
